how do you justify true knowledge

True knowledge exist only in our thoughts or mind. Everything we see, heard or learn is only an interpretation of the truth that exist in our minds. How do we know or justify that what we learn in school in true and accurate knowledge (especially History)?

  1. Well when it comes down to history, we only know accurate stuff about the winners. 'Winners write the history books'. I suppose there are probably things that we learn that are changing and out of date, and becoming untrue. We justify that everything we learn is true though because we believe the teachers are truthful to us, but they themselves learned it from their teachers and believe it true themselves. Where does the learning chain break in truth in justification?
